Annie's Homegrown is a popular organic and natural food company known for its wide range of macaroni and cheese products, snacks, and other organic food items. Founded in 1989, Annie's is committed to producing delicious and wholesome foods using high-quality, organic ingredients.

After doing a brand audit on Annie’s and their products, we knew the brand needed consistency in their packaging and branding system while showcasing their joyful and energetic personality.

The goal of this project is to reinforce families and individual’s healthy choices and eating habits with consideration to dietary needs and restrictions.

The new logo and wordmark are an evolution of the current logo that considers usage across print and digital media. To help shoppers with different dietary needs, the call outs and certifications in the primary display panels have a consistent system.

To differentiate Annie’s core products and their kids line, a variation of the logo was created and the display panel on the back would include activities.

The new packaging system makes use of color, typography, and illustration to differentiate between products but also strengthens brand recognizability across their product lines.

For Annie’s to feel more relatable, we shot stop-motion pieces that shows the different products in various occasions from the viewpoint of the consumer.

The retail space allows the products to be placed together with supporting graphical elements that expresses the brand’s tone of voice creates a stronger brand presence, instead of them being found separately.

This project was done in collaboration with Ana Vázquez.
